In addition to his M.D., he completed a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Pathology within the division of Neuropathology. Following his initial medical training and an internship at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital, he returned to his hometown of San Diego to complete a Radiology Residency at UCSD. Dr. Greenís pursuit of additional subspecialty training in Neuroradiology was a natural extension of his longstanding interest in Neuroscience and Neuropathology.
During fellowship, Dr. Green focused on advanced imaging techniques used to diagnose stroke and to assess the response of brain tumors to treatment. In addition, he developed strong neurointerventional skills for the treatment of chronic back pain and cerebrovascular disease. This experience allows Dr. Green to provide clinically meaningful information that referring physicians need in order to treat their patients more effectively.
