Dr. Fisher joined AIC in May 2004. Dr.
Fisher is a nationally and internationally known expert in magnetic
resonance imaging (MRI). She has published a textbook on Pelvic Imaging,
authored over 90 articles and chapters, and has lectured extensively on
magnetic resonance imaging and other topics in radiology.
After Dr. Fisher completed her fellowship
in magnetic resonance imaging at UCSF, she was the Director of Magnetic
Resonance Imaging and Chief of Cardiac Radiology at Northwestern
University in Chicago. Subsequently, Dr. Fisher was recruited to Los
Angeles, and was the Director of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Cardiac
Imaging in a large tertiary hospital for numerous years and later on
became the chairman of the department.
Dr. Fisher is an excellent and experienced
all-around radiologist who brings to AIC her special interests and skills
in MR, especially musculoskeletal, neurological, and body applications,
and in the advanced uses of multislice CT for body and neurological
imaging.
Family is very important to Dr. Fisher, and
she devotes her free time to her three children. She is active at their
schools and their functions, sports events, musical endeavors, academic
pursuits, and spending quality time with them.
